Hello

I’m Rhys Alexander: equestrian, PhD in psychology, baker of treats (for animals and humans), and full-time chaos wrangler. I compete in the low jumpers with my OTTB Ghost, share my farm with two other horses, Corky and Decan, a mini donkey, Waffles, and a zoo’s worth of pets, and run Unbridled Bakery Co. My humor leans dark, I have a flair for the dramatic, and my perspective is a little… unorthodox. Welcome to Chaos Unbridled—where horses, headspace, home-baked happiness, and a touch of chaos collide.

My Story

I grew up in Northern Virginia with a lifelong obsession: horses. From the first moment I sat in a saddle, I was hooked—spending my childhood riding and competing across the East Coast. That love for equines eventually carried me to Ocala, Florida, the “Horse Capital of the World,” where my husband and I purchased a mini farm that’s now home to my three horses, Ghost, Corky, and Declan, our mini donkey Waffles, and a bustling mix of dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. They keep life lively, messy, and endlessly entertaining.

Alongside my barn life, I pursued my passion for understanding people, earning a PhD in psychology (with a focus on developmental, forensic, and organizational areas). It turns out that understanding brains—human or horse—comes in handy when managing life, animals, work, and chaos.

When I’m not working full-time or riding, I run Unbridled Bakery Co., creating nutritious treats for horses and dogs, and occasionally baking for humans, too. I bake, I ride, I observe, and I reflect—all with a dash of dark humor and a slightly unorthodox perspective.

Chaos Unbridled is my space to share all of it: the triumphs, the messy moments, the lessons learned, and the little joys in between. It’s where horses, psychology, baking, and life collide in one gloriously unbridled story.
